Advertising policy

Rules for Daywia Ads (Boost) and Google AdMob: how Boost ads are reviewed, targeted, labelled and billed, what can't be advertised, and how creators share Boost revenue.

Last updated: 26 October 2026

Daywia shows two kinds of ads. Daywia Ads (Boost) are posts, products and shops that people pay to promote with Credits. A person at Daywia reviews each one before it runs. Google AdMob ads are shown only to adults. Teens never see them. AdMob uses the Android advertising ID, and Google chooses and reviews those ads under its own policies. You can hide or report an AdMob ad with the AdChoices icon. Both kinds are labelled “Ad” or “Sponsored”. The rules below cover Boost. This policy is part of our Terms and matches the Privacy Policy.

1. What you can promote

2. Review

A person at Daywia reviews every ad before it runs. We check the post or product, the advertiser and the landing action. We may reject an ad and tell you why. If an ad isn't reviewed within 7 days it's cancelled and your Credits are released. Ads that get several reports go back to review.

3. Not allowed

4. Honest ads

Ads must be truthful, match the product or service, and follow the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the Guidelines for Prevention of Misleading Advertisements, 2022 and the ASCI Code. Prices must be the real price. Every ad is labelled “Sponsored” or “Paid partnership”; creators must not hide or remove that label.

5. Audience

You can target all of India, or chosen states and districts. We don't offer distance targeting or age targeting, and we never target by sensitive traits such as religion, caste, health or sexuality. Because people aged 13–17 use Daywia, every ad must be suitable for them — which is why the categories in §3 aren't allowed. Advertising itself is 18+.

6. Billing

7. Viewers' controls

Tap ⓘ on a Boost ad to hide it, see why you're seeing it, or report it. On a Google ad, use the AdChoices icon. Ads can appear on Home (Friends and Discover), Drifts, Explore, Drops and long videos. They do not appear in chats, comments, profiles, Saved, or during a Parallel.

8. Creators share ad revenue

From October 2026 views, 50% of Daywia's net Boost revenue each month (purchased Credits spent on qualified views, after Google's fee and GST) is shared among eligible creators by their share of qualified views on their Captured posts (gallery posts don't count). Google AdMob revenue is not part of that pool. See Terms §9.

9. Enforcement

We may stop ads, reject future ads, and suspend advertisers who break this policy. Credits spent on views already delivered aren't refunded when an ad is stopped for a violation.
